Andre Baesa
Senior Coordinator of Intercultural Engagement and Student Life Initiatives
Andre Baesa is the Senior Coordinator of Intercultural Engagement and Student Life Initiatives. In this role, Andre contributes towards the creation of a more vibrant, inclusive, and supportive campus environment by fostering the development of intercultural maturity, positive interfaith cooperation through Baylor's student-led group, Better Together, and civil dialogue through the Public Deliberation Initiative. Coinciding with his role, Andre also has a passion for cross-cultural experiences, and after earning his bachelor's degree at Pepperdine University, he spent three years living in China where he taught English at the university level. Andre’s educational pursuits then led him to Baylor, where he earned a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs in 2019. He has since worked in Residence Life, Academic Advising, Financial Aid Advising, and International Admissions at various institutions in Texas.
