Financial Support Applications
Conference + Travel* Funding
Funds for this academic year have been distributed. Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will open in August.
Prior to completing an application, please review the following information:
- This scholarship is only available to individual student applicants and is not awarded for group travel. Those seeking funding should complete this application for awards to support leadership conference attendance or travel expenses.*
- All requests will be reviewed for purpose and alignment with Baylor and Student Life’s mission and should elevate the leadership development experience of undergraduate students directly or through professional support. Successful applications will effectively highlight this focus.
- Grants are awarded on a rolling basis throughout the academic year.
- Submitting this request does not guarantee funding. Students are eligible to receive UP TO $1,200 dollars through this award. A compelling application should demonstrate a plan for fundraising or otherwise acquiring funds if the total need is above $1,200.
- We recommend completing this form at least 30 days prior to any payment deadlines. Applications submitted retroactively will not be considered.
- All applications for Summer travel must be completed before the Spring application closes.
- Please note that students are eligible to receive funding once annually (per academic year) for Conference + Travel* Funding requests. Additionally, for international travel requests, only Baylor sponsored experiences are eligible for consideration.

*In addition to conferences, travel may include retreats, workshops, or other developmental opportunities that would support or develop your understanding of leadership.
Program + Event Funding
Funds for this academic year have been distributed. Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will open in August.
Prior to completing an application, please review the following information:
- Students should complete this application to request support for a leadership-focused event or program that will benefit their organization or the entire campus community.
- Please note that all requests will be reviewed for purpose and alignment with Baylor and Student Life's missions as well as meaningful outcomes related to the Leadership for the Common Good framework.
- Grants are awarded on a rolling basis throughout the academic year. Submitting this request does not guarantee funding. We recommend completing this form at least 60 days prior to any payment or planning deadlines.
- Program Grant applications are reviewed during the last business week of each month.
- Please note that students/organizations are eligible to receive financial support once every two academic years.*

Student Government Allocation Fund
The Student Government Allocation Fund (SGAF) is a financial resource available to those seeking to create a university-wide impact through campus improvement projects, social events, educational causes, or charitable endeavors. Please carefully review guidelines for and request timelines prior to preparing a submission.
Team Development Opportunities
Student Leadership Development Office
The Student Leadership Development office would love to support by co-constructing or facilitating a training or leadership education event for your organization/team. We are happy to advise or host sessions related to topics such as Collaboration or Civil Discourse or to help you identify campus resources/professionals who could enhance your efforts.
Interested students/organizations can reach out to leadership@baylor.edu to arrange a time to meet with someone from our team or to schedule a Leadership for the Common Good 101 training session.
Eastland Lakes Challenge Course
Group programs at Baylor University’s Eastland Lakes Team and Leadership Center are designed to assist teams to learn and grow together. The challenge course is an experience for everyone, athletes and non-athletes alike. It is about participation and offering one’s best talents, ideas, support and encouragement, not just physical skill or exertion.
