Leadership Speaker Series
Student Leadership Development at Baylor seeks to embolden students towards cultivating the virtues and habits necessary to faithfully and authentically lead for the common good. In support of this mission, we invite thought leaders to discuss the intersection of their areas of expertise; postures of leadership to include character, virtue, and ethics; as well as human flourishing and the common good. Students will be educated towards a certain kind of leadership in the world; leadership characterized by a commitment to human flourishing and wrestling towards shalom.
Spring 2026
The Leadership Speaker Series is honored to host Rev. Dr. Erin Moniz for an evening of meaningful reflection and conversation. Rev. Moniz (DMin, Trinity School for Ministry) is a deacon in the Anglican Church in North America and Associate Chaplain and Director for Chapel at Baylor University, where she disciples emerging adults and journeys with them toward healthy, gospel-centered relationships. She is a trained conciliator, mediator, and conflict coach. Rev. Moniz also recently released her first book, Knowing and Being Known, a book about intimacy, identity, shame, hope, and the gospel. Join us as Rev. Dr. Moniz shares insights on the topic "The Art of Vulnerability: Leadership, Relationships, and Courage". A limited number of free copies of her book, Knowing and Being Known, will be available to attendees.
