Spring 2026 Speakers
Rev. Dr. Erin Moniz, The Art of Vulnerability: Leadership, Relationships, and Courage
The Leadership Speaker Series is honored to host Rev. Dr. Erin Moniz for an evening of meaningful reflection and conversation. Rev. Moniz (DMin, Trinity School for Ministry) is a deacon in the Anglican Church in North America and Associate Chaplain and Director for Chapel at Baylor University, where she disciples emerging adults and journeys with them toward healthy, gospel-centered relationships. She is a trained conciliator, mediator, and conflict coach. Rev. Moniz also recently released her first book, Knowing and Being Known, a book about intimacy, identity, shame, hope, and the gospel. Join us as Rev. Dr. Moniz shares insights on the topic "The Art of Vulnerability: Leadership, Relationships, and Courage". A limited number of free copies of her book, Knowing and Being Known, will be available to attendees.

Idara Otu, Winning Beyond the Finish Line: Leadership Lessons From the Track
The Leadership Speaker Series is excited to host Olympian, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and author Idara Otu. Ms. Otu’s experience evidences that the corporate arena, entrepreneurship, and social impact can coexist. During her time on campus, she will discuss the intersection of her areas of expertise with postures of leadership to include character, virtue, and ethics; as well as flourishing and the common good. She will galvanize us towards perseverance and resilience as she shares about Winning Beyond the Finish Line: Leadership Lessons From the Track.

Dr. Natasha Sistrunk Robinson, A Sojourner's Truth: Cultural Humility & Crafting True Narratives
Dr. Natasha Sistrunk Robinson is a social entrepreneur. She is President & CEO of T3 Leadership Solutions, Inc. and the Visionary Founder and Chairperson of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Leadership LINKS, Inc. She is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, a United States Marine (having obtained the rank of Captain), and a former federal government employee of the Department of Homeland Security. Dr. Robinson is a leadership consultant and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). A graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary-Charlotte (cum laude) and North Park Theological Seminary (DMIN), she is a sought-after international speaker, leadership trainer, and facilitator with more than 20 years of leadership and mentoring experience in the military, federal government, academic, and nonprofit sectors. Dr. Robinson exists to equip people to live and lead on purpose. She is passionate about creating equitable spaces for Black Indigenous Women of Color (BIWOC), and intentionally invests in mentoring the next generation of Black girls and Black women leaders. She is the author of several books including Voices of Lament (editor),
Journey to Freedom, A Sojourner’s Truth, Hope for Us Bible study, and Mentor for Life, and the host of A Sojourner’s Truth podcast.
She has been invited to campus to discuss the intersection of her areas of expertise with postures of leadership to include character, virtue, and ethics; as well as flourishing and the common good. She will share with us through story, A Sojourner's Truth: Cultural Humility & Crafting True Narratives.

Dr. James K.A. Smith, Leadership is for Lovers
Dr. James K.A. Smith will discuss themes from his acclaimed book, You are What You Love: The Spiritual Power of Habit. The Leadership Speaker Series promotes leadership development by inviting thought leaders to discuss the intersection of their areas of expertise; postures of leadership including character, virtue, and ethics; as well as flourishing and the common good.
