FSL Advisor of the Year
This award is given to one faculty/staff and one alumni/ae advisor who has demonstrated commitment to the organization they advise. Nominees should exhibit tremendous dedication, guidance, and have made a difference within a Fraternity or Sorority at Baylor University. Each chapter may submit one (1) faculty/staff advisor and one (1) alumni/ae advisor for consideration.
Fraternity Member of the Year
This is awarded to one Fraternity member who has demonstrated commitment to their organizations, councils, campus, and the Waco community. The awarded individual has dedicated time and energy to improving not only their respective chapters and councils, but all Greek Life. Nominees should be able to demonstrate a commitment to all five pillars of Greek Life: Meaningful Relationships, Academic Excellence, Service & Philanthropy, Leadership Development, and Spiritual Growth. Each chapter may submit a maximum of one (1) nomination of a member within the Baylor FSL Community who they feel embodies this description. Nominees should be current members of the community, and should be evaluated based upon their contributions in the 2025 calendar year.
Sorority Member of the Year
This is awarded to one Sorority member who has demonstrated commitment to their organizations, councils, campus, and the Waco community. The awarded individual has dedicated time and energy to improving not only their respective chapters and councils, but all Greek Life. This is awarded to one Fraternity member who has demonstrated leadership, service, involvement, and scholarship during his time as a member of our FSL community. Eligible nominees must have joined their organization either in the Spring or Fall of 2025. Each chapter may submit a maximum of one (1) nomination of a member within the FSL Community who they feel embodies this award description. Nominees should be current members of the community and evaluated based upon their contribution since joining in the 2025 calendar year.
Sorority New Member of the Year
This is awarded to one Sorority member who has demonstrated leadership, service, involvement, and scholarship during her time as a member of our FSL community. Eligible nominees must have joined their organization either in the Spring or Fall of 2025. Outstanding Fraternity & Sorority Life Leader
This is awarded to fraternity men and sorority women who have dedicated time and energy to improving their chapters and demonstrate the values of their individual organizations in their daily lives. Nominees should demonstrate a commitment to all five pillars of Fraternity & Sorority Life: Meaningful Relationships, Academic Excellence, Service & Philanthropy, Leadership, and Spiritual Growth. Each chapter may submit a maximum of one (1) nomination of a member within the Baylor FSL community who they feel embodies the award description. Nominated individuals should be current members of the community and evaluated based upon their contributions in the 2025 calendar year.
Herbert H. Reynolds Chapter of the Year Award
This is awarded to the top fraternity or sorority at Baylor within each of the four councils. In addition, each chapter recipient will be granted $500. The criterion for the award includes the following categories: mission, vision, spiritual work, scholarship & academic excellence, community service & philanthropy, relationship building, risk management & education, leadership development, and chapter operations.
