The Grow@BU Professional Development Initiative for staff and faculty seeks to foster a professional learning and development culture and incentivizes voluntary participation through a program of rewards and recognition.
For staff and faculty who seek a comprehensive professional development roadmap, Grow@BU offers a personal, curated, self-paced learning path for professional skills development necessary for high performance and career success.
Lead@BU
Lead@BU offers a curated yet flexible learning path designed to encourage, and recognize Baylor leaders who intentionally invest in their leadership growth. Lead@BU is intentionally flexible. There is no time limit for completion, and courses may be taken in any order.
Career Conversations
This worksheet is designed to help you prepare for a productive career conversation with your manager. Strategize on what you want to accomplish, whether it is career development options you want to discuss, or if you feel you are ready for more or new responsibilities. Align your proposed objective(s) with the needs of the team, department, and University. Be open to your manager’s feedback and clarify next steps to take after the meeting.
Individual Development Plan (IDP)
